The D2W conference has begun selecting speakers and topics for next years conference. Sean Schroeder with MuraCMS talks about the new features of MuraCMS, and his session for D2W. D2W is July 15-16, 2011 and is a designer/developer/mobile workflow conference in Kansas City, MO. We added a mobile track this next year and are looking forward to bringing you interviews with all the speakers, which will be selected soon.

In episode 4, we turn to look more at HTML and content managed websites and the common workflow issues that are encountered. Special guest, Greg Spies, from The Interactive Dept. joins the group to talk about how he was able to partner with a designer to create HTML-based websites and applications for his customers.

In episode 3, we sit down to talk about our experiences at the Adobe MAX 2010 Conference held in Los Angeles. We talk about our overall experiences, favorite topics, gadgets and sessions. We also take time to discuss how different workflow issues and concepts are introduced by the rapidly evolving mobile market and how the process we use as designers and developers is changing. |

In our second podcast we start off a with a horror story about failure in process and then we discuss how this can occur. We look at different angles of the problem: from management, to client relations to core education and even continuing education (or lack there of). We look at ways to improve communication so that these failures don't happen in the future and discuss how to help teams become aware that these issues are occurring. |

Welcome to the first D2W Podcast. D2W stands for designer/developer workflow, and was also a conference held in Kansas City in June of 2010.
